Wall lights

The best wall light to optimally illuminate your space depends on its intended use and your interior design style. For modern rooms, we recommend LED wall lights from Maytoni with a dimmable function, while Sompex models with indirect light create particularly atmospheric lighting. Look for swivel spotlights for reading and indirect lighting for cozy accents. Complement your lighting concept with modern floor lamps for balanced room illumination.

For accent lighting in the living room, 100-400 lumens are sufficient; in the hallway, you'll need 400-600 lumens for safe navigation. For reading light, we recommend at least 300 lumens with warm white light. The brightness of the bulb should always match the intended use and room size. Wall lamps are usually mounted at a height of 160-180 cm – around eye level. Next to the bed, ideally place them 50-60 cm above the mattress, and in stairwells every 1.5-2 meters. For mirror lights, orient yourself to the center of the mirror. Correct positioning, together with thoughtful wall design, creates a harmonious overall impression.

There are adhesive solutions and clamp mounts for lightweight lamps up to approx. 2 kg. For heavier designer wall lights or permanent installation, however, we recommend classic wall mounting with anchors. Battery options also allow for installation without power.

LED lamps have a clear advantage in wall lighting: they save up to 80% energy, last 25 times longer, and generate hardly any heat. Modern LED wall lights also offer adjustable light color and dimming function – with consistently high light quality.

Wall lights are connected to the 230V mains power supply via a flush-mounted box. Before installation, switch off the fuse and connect the live wire (brown), neutral wire (blue), and earth wire (yellow-green) to the terminal block. If you are unsure, you should hire an electrician.
